Greetings and Salutations, my fellow countrypeople,

I want to start this new article with a sincere thank you for all of you that voted for the Real Spamicans. Because of you, I was able to start my first Congress session in the UK. Thank you.



Obligatory Doctor Who reference out of the way, it is time to move on to business at hand. In my last article, I promised to keep you, my fellow countrypeople and peasants alike, informed on the what-have-you's of the eUK Congress. This is a promise I intend to keep. Let us begin, shall we?



Like any former American that has left the rugged comfort of the colonies across the pond for the posh cosmopolitan that is the UK; I have found some adjustment is necessary in my new home. This definitely includes Congress. Luckily, I have my fellow party members to help me learn the ropes here.

For example, in the eUS, donation proposals are automatic. The eUS makes so much money that it MUST get as many donation proposals as it can to put the unbelievable amount of money it uses daily. They sent it to the American version of the Bank of England, known as the CBO. The CBO is staffed by a group of Treasurers, who control the output of the money and sends the Federal government money, but only an amount that was agreed upon by the eUS Congress each month with a Federal Government Budget vote. The CP can not just log into the org and take the money as they please. Apparently here, the CP can just log into the Bank of England org and use the money as needed.

To provide better oversight, the eUK Congress is looking to reign in this spending with a system of checks and balances. We would like to discuss why the CP needs this money and know exactly how it is being spent. Because of this, the donation proposal by hollenboer appears to be heading to failure. There was neither a discussion prior to, nor a budget discussion even held, prior to this proposal.



Before the first discussion could be held, a Congressperson was banned from the game. Simio Yosemite Sam [UKRP] was permanently banned by Admin for usage of multiple accounts.
