I have apple, android and windows products. I have owned everything from Nokia 5110, Panasonic, Alcatel, ... Sony Ericsson, Blackberry, Palm, ... Apple, Windows Nokia, Android ... and I saw history of phones from first mobile phones. I'm not talking about brand I'm talking how brand greed changing and making tech dumber just for higher profit. We take it with no complaint.
We had removable battery they kill it, we had audio jack they kill it, we had infrared port (phone universal remote) they killed it, fm radio they killed it, ... Al of those cost pennies to make. Phones would last longer, less pollution to make new ones, more usability and less likely to replace phone, and we don't want that. If you don't vote with your wallet you are their bitch. What ever brand it is.
I remember time when Nokia was king. Every phone maker had their own different charging port. Then EU brought bill that they all must have same Micro USB port, changed latter to USB C. What Apple did? Page from old book of greed and made lighting port so you are their bitch (I have Apple with that port) and must buy their proprietary port. No other reason then to make more money so make it more expensive and inconvenient to you. No awareness, no law, here you go.
All pretty much true.. Apple does make a good product, however they are extremely proprietary. Many years of this back to the early PC days. Their PC's if you wanted to upgrade, you had to get parts from Apple that cost 3-4x more than that same part would cost for a Windows machine. If you go Apple, you basically have to go 'All Apple' for compatibility and it will be much more costly. Samsung makes excellent products and Android is widely compatible, personally I think thats the best way to go unless you don't care about money at all and just buy Apple everything. Apple products work well together so using just Apple is convenient but costly as Apple products do not like to play with others.
