[MoE?] Travel Log: Tales from Sao Paulo I

Day 5,410, 08:14 Published in Japan Japan by Senry.

A record of my adventures in Sao Paulo.

To whoever is reading this, I am currently writing on the dawn of the 12th of September, or at least that's what I can gather from the cracked, barely functional phone screen of my previous captor. The only things keeping my nerves calm are the original Code Geass OST he had been listening to on his Galaxy Buds Pro©℗®™

This is not intended as a substitution or an excuse for the vital governmental role I have been selected for, but I hope it will shed light on the current circumstances.

September 6th

I recall walking out of the Imperial Ministry Building, on the day of Oraizan's inauguration. The skies were clear and I was set to walk back home to my empty home loving wife and three seventeen cats kids. I had brought my beautiful decorative parasol with my waifu and best girl, Lelouch Lamperouge, suggestively strewn across it like a circular body pillow. This would turn out to be a blessing, as not five minutes after I departed from the ministry had passed until a sudden cloudburst erupted from the heavens, and the heavy pitter-patter of the sudden storm began to moisten the sacred artwork of my parasol.

I quickened my pace through the streets, and took a sharp turn into an alley with overhead roofing for shelter, and that's when I saw him.

His eyes were lit with a fiery determination that brought into view his henchmen, almost entirely cloaked in shadow. I remember we had talked the night before, we encountered each other in an Izakaya, and he spoke frankly of his desires for revolution, for change. The determination in his eyes then were like a spark, but in that alley they seemed to be a smoldering flame.

"Oh, what a coincidence to see you here - minister. It is minister, yes? I believe you failed to mention your occupation on our first meeting."

I retracted my parasol and folded it up under my shoulder. This seemed to be a mistake, as I hadn't perceived yet the threatening tones in his voice. When I glanced up at him, the flame in his eyes had already become as an inferno.

"Nowe-kun? What are you doing here? This flash stor-"

"I WILL BE THE ONE TO ASK QUESTIONS!" He exclaimed, as his agents - his shadows - quickly dashed, no, danced, through the narrow alley as smoothly as though they were a gentle stream of water. Before I could react to anything, they had apprehended me by my arms, I heard the sound of my Lelouch Lamperouge parasol dropping to the ground, and fear began to overtake my senses. He began to approach me himself.

"Y-Yes Nowe-kun, I mean, it hadn't been fully confirmed yet, I didn't think it would be appropriate at the time."

"And you listened to my impassioned speeches knowing that secret, mocking me under your breath no doubt. You told them everything I said in the ministry, didn't you? DIDN'T YOU?"

"No! I didn't say a single word!"

"LIAR!"

I could feel the gaze of death, and at that moment, it felt like there had never been a flame in his eyes, there couldn't have been, there was only a pure void. Darker than an angsty teen's first fanfiction on Wattpad. Darker than some of the shit Kentaro Miura wrote into Berserk, if you know you know. Anyway, it was, dark. He was so close that I could feel his breath grazing against my neck.

I swung my neck forward to headbutt him, reasoning that my only course of action was to escape. He fell to the ground, not expecting such resistance, but before I could do anything else, I felt a sharp prick in the back of my neck, and I fell unconscious.

I hear someone coming down the stairs, so I will have to pause this record. Hopefully I will be able to continue to log the past week in the future, if I don't die. I believe they're talking about selling my kidneys.

If I don't return, tell my loving kid and seventeen wives, or whatever, that I love them.
