Balloon Bonanza Success

There are 15 Funky Balloon boosters in the Weekly Challenge. But even if you don't get that far, you can get more Funky Balloon boosters in the gold store

The Balloon Bonanza XS and Balloon Bonanza S packs give you a total of 30 Funky Balloon boosters for only 300 gold, plus additional items.

While going for Sky Heroes this week might be tough, it would mean a full "refund" of the gold those packs cost, meaning the additional items are basically for free.

Cooperation!
In order to get the most out of these balloons, we need to work together so that if somebody is going for a SH, 9 other people also use their balloons. After each successful round, they would get donated 10 gold or 10000 NLG each.

This way everybody can make sure they're fully charged with energy and even use one of the air damage boosters and/or (some of) the stingers from the balloon bonanza packs to further boost their chance of success.

If 10 people take turns doing so, I'd guess they'd be relatively sure to get their investment in those packs fully refunded. NOTE: we're talking about a "budget" of 70 or 80 stingers per 10 balloons from the above packs, which corresponds to over 200k damage in Air rounds. So far I haven't seen such extravagant damage, and I guess the hunters will go for more low-hanging fruit. You might even be able to get away with less damage, saving a few stingers for future rounds.

Note: if it's the same group of 10 people, there won't even be a need for donations, as everybody will end up with 110 gold earned by their Sky Hero medal at the cost of 10 balloons (100 gold), 1 fuel and a few thousand energy.

The weekly challenge is listing the amounts of balloons wrong! Some of them are 2 or 5 balloons.

Ah! I just checked again and they have changed it; it now lists the quantities but I don't know if they are correct.

There are 240 balloons in the packs and probably 25 in the challenge. So 265 total.
We have 77 fuel.
That's an average of 265/77 = 3.44 balloons per battle. That is a lot of balloons. 😐

If we use 10 balloons per air round that's still only 27 (26.5) air rounds after getting the maximum number of balloons. So 50 fuel to use for battles where not enough people are online.

If you get all packs that's 2020 stingers. For 27 air rounds that's roughly 75 stingers per round, i.e. a similar amount as that in the calculation in the article, where the balloon-boosted SH medals are earned with over 200k damage.

Note: getting all packs means spending 3800 gold, which is more than you will get back from SH medals. So you need to have a use for the remaining items for it to be worthwhile. The big bombs should guarantee some easy BHs in the short term, and the damage boosters are always worthwhile. But whether it's worth it in total, I cannot say.
